Welcome to the UK Social Media Communications Awards previously known in their abbreviated form as the some comms awards. Now in their fourth year, the awards continue to celebrate the very best in UK social media communications and will be held for the first time in London at The Emirates Stadium on Thursday 24 October 2013.

This year's awards are being launched in association with our headline sponsor UKFast, media partner PRmoment and are once again supported by both the CIPR and PRCA.

Last years awards took place in Manchester on Thursday 18 October and congratulations go out to all our winners and to everyone who made the 2012 shortlist.

We hope we'll see many of you again this year in London and here are some key dates for your diary:
