The Social Shepherd is a social-first marketing agency based in Bath, with offices across the UK and the US. The team is over the moon to have won Best Large Social Media Agency in the UK for a second consecutive year, after another year of business expansion and team growth. Zoe Stephenson, Co-Founder & CEO at The Social Shepherd, says: “We are thrilled to have won this award for the second consecutive year! This is a great recognition of our growth, the quality of work achieved and the wonderful team we’ve built in the last six years. We are all so proud and can’t wait to see what we achieve next.”

The Social Shepherd team have seen impressive growth these last 6 years, going from a team of 44 to 67 within the last year, as well as expanding to the US (with offices in New York & Miami), and surpassing their revenue goals by 50.7%.

“Wow! What an honour to win Best Large Agency two years in a row at the UK Social Media Awards. This wouldn’t be possible without all the team’s hard work and our amazing clients that we continue to love working with every single day. Fingers crossed for next year!” – Jack Shepherd, Co-Founder & Managing Director

The Social Shepherd has also focused on maintaining a strong culture despite the rapid growth, by expanding their wellbeing package, investing in their internal teams and hiring talent that are a good cultural fit.

“Winning Best Large Social Media Agency for the second consecutive year is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our exceptional team. It is a celebration of the passion, creativity, and teamwork that defines The Social Shepherd and makes us truly unique. Our team’s commitment ensures that our culture and values remain front and centre in everything we do and we are extremely proud to receive this recognition.” – Kellie Mason, Internal Ops & People Director

The agency has also invested in marketing, growing its newsletter for those who work in social and want to be up-to-date with industry updates, as well as sharing their in-house podcast discussing the latest platform updates and learnings with their team of experts.

“We not only want to provide exceptional work for our clients but also share our opinions and thoughts on the latest industry news and developments, as social is rapidly changing. We’ve received such positive feedback from existing clients, new leads and talent who enjoy following us on socials and consuming our content to stay up-to-date!” Mireia Boronat, Marketing Manager

Not only the internal marketing team has grown stronger, but they’ve also restructured departments to support their clients further, as more household names and global brands show interest in working with them.

This award is not only a testament to everyone’s hard work and dedication but also a chance to social-proof their work and help them expand to new heights. In 2025, The Social Shepherd will be focusing on improving their service offering and team training, in order to allow for future growth within the UK and US.
